With views of Snowdonia and the Cumbrian mountains it's a wonder we get any work done, says Dougal Paver.
We can normally see Snowdon, Tryfan and the Glyders from the Paver Smith office, fifty-odd miles hence. On some days you can watch the climbers unwrap their sarnies on Snowdon's Pyg Track, it's so clear.
But for only the second time in 18 months in our eerie atop the Plaza we could see the Lake District mountains today. So clear you could touch them. Unless you're called Tony, in which case you'd struggle to even see Bootle.
Right now we're watching the snow come in across Liverpool Bay. Fabulous.
