Crowds gathered in St Paul's Square on Thursday as the Liverpool Commercial District Partnership stages an outdoor dance spectacular.
A series of 1920's Hollywood show-stopping dance routines were performed by Britain's Got Talent semi-finalists MD Productions.
Workers and residents browsed market stalls and enjoyed a selection of gourmet food including freshly cooked ostrich burgers, homemade cupcakes, local cheeses and luxury sweets and chocolate.
Paul Rice, chief executive of Liverpool CDP said: "The square is a symbol of Liverpool's economic renaissance with around 30,000 people now living and working in the surrounding area.
"Liverpool CDP members have got together to support the event which was designed to bring the square to life and promote the opportunities for individuals and businesses in terms of living, working and leisure.
"St Paul's Live! was a fantastic showcase of talent allowing people to witness the vibrancy and quality of the offer in the heart of the district."
Dancers from the MD Productions were catapulted to fame when they appeared on Britain's Got Talent and received rave reviews. Since then they have performed at the MTV awards and for the BBC and ITV.
Choreographer and founder Miguel Doforo said: "We were delighted to perform in St Paul's Square - It's a great location and we've put together a breathtaking show that is guaranteed to transform people's lunch hours next week."
