1. What do you like most about your job?
The fact that there is tremendous variety, no day is the same. The pace is dynamic and the people here are fantastic!

2. What is the best example of advertising you have seen recently?
At the moment I really like the Honda car advertising campaigns. They are very creative and most importantly, very memorable. Some of them also communicate Honda's environmental agenda very well. Check them out here: http://video.honda.co.uk/hondatv/honda_home.htm The 'Cog' ad is great!

3. Where is your favourite place in the world that you have visited?
I love Italy, so it would have to be Toscana, and in particular Siena and Lucca.

4. What do you do to unwind?
Running is a great way to unwind and help the thought process. I run three times a week, around 8 miles each time, and ride 7 miles on my bike twice a week.

5. What are you currently working on?
The next M&S Simply food store launch in Farringdon, London, amongst other things!

6. What is the best experience that working in advertising has given you?
Probably working on UPS (the parcel delivery service) account. We launched a new brand image and advertising campaign to all the customer care and driver centres across Europe. We had to come up with an interactive and informative session for each country, and all the marketing materials had to be translated into five languages. Best bit was I was dispatched to Milan - Piu bella!

7. What are you doing this weekend?
Going to an Italian Car show in Bristol where they close all of the streets in the centre of the town and allow Italian exotica park on the kerbs.

8. What are you reading at the moment?
The workshop manual for my Alfa Spider!

9. What is your most prized possession?
After my family (a wife and two costly daughters!), my Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider (old Italian classic car which needs lots of TLC)

Always have a plan B
