Members from the North West's exclusive
millionaires' club came together at the venue, where they
enjoyed a uniquely themed three course 'bank-quet',
featuring recipes to bring good fortune and prosperity, to help
celebrate the 15th anniversary of The National Lottery.
Since the Lottery was launched in
November 1994, it has created 242 millionaires across the North
West region, 589 jackpot tickets have been won, and a staggering
£1,247,579,000 has been paid out in major prizes.
Attendees on the day included
Bolton's Brian Caswell, who scooped a whopping £24.9
million on the EuroMillions draw in June 2009, making him third on
the National Lottery Rich List.
A National Lottery spokesperson
said: "We're delighted to be bringing together so much
good fortune under one roof to celebrate 15 years of The National
Lottery.
"It was great to catch up with the winners and see how their
lives have been transformed by their good fortune."
