Liverpool turned green on Tuesday as it celebrated St
Patrick's Day.
There was a real celebratory atmosphere across the city and the
streets were filled with revellers.
While events like this get a great deal of media
coveragethemselves, for us working in PR it gives us new
opportunities to generate publicity for our clients using a
topical hook to the day's proceedings. We chance to think of
different and interesting ways to get our clients into the media
and be as creative as we can around these events.
For example, when
Barrack Obama was inaugurated, Liverpool bar and
restaurant
Alma de Cubacelebrated this by creating the Viva Obama!
cocktail and therefore some fantastic PR opportunities.
And if it means we can have some fun while generating great
coverage for our clients then even better!
