The Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa is set in
breathtaking Cheshire countryside and is home to the £1.5m
Karma Spa, the first spa to be honoured by Visit Britain's new
spa accreditation scheme.
The family-run hotel is part of
Nelson Northwest Hotels Ltd, which recently re-opened The
Bear's Paw, following a 12 month refurbishment project worth
£2m.
The Sandbach pub was forced to close
for repairs last year after a fire destroyed much of the building,
which has been a part of the Warmingham's village landscape for
centuries.
The pub now boasts 14 boutique rooms
with complimentary wifi and media hubs, and luxurious new
furnishings throughout.
Olympic medallist Beth Tweddle was
the guest of honour at the re-launch in May. Beth is from nearby Bunbury and started her gymnastic career
in Crewe at the age of seven.
The Mayor of Cheshire East, Margaret
Simon and the Mayor's Consort, Maurice Simon, were also there
to celebrate.
The new pub serves locally sourced,
seasonal food and the kitchen is helmed by executive chef Leigh
Myers, who has worked at some of the country's most renowned
Michelin-starred restaurants, including the Northcote Manor Hotel,
Paul Heathcote's Longridge and the Devonshire Arms in Bolton
Abbey.
