Agri-energy boost

Agri-energy, the bio-fuels subsidiary of the giant Irish Food Processors, has retained Paver Smith to manage a detailed public affairs and PR programme related to its development plans in the UK.
The appointment follows a three-way pitch and sees the agency reporting directly to Co Louth-based MD Robert Behan.
Agency director Rachel Smith, who is leading a team advising the client on a range of issues, welcomed the appointment as further evidence of the appeal of the agency's specialist public affairs skills.
"We undertake a lot of complex public consultation assignments for developers and land owners and this assignment will bring a range of our skills to bear."
