Paver Smith has committed to becoming one of the 100 Best Small Companies to Work For.
The benchmark, published annually in the Sunday Times, is acknowledged as identifying the very best companies in terms of training, development, leadership, employee engagement and terms and conditions.
"We can't enter until 2011 as you have to be five years' old, so we'll benchmark ourselves against the standard so that we can see where and how we need to improve in order to be among the best," said agency MD Dougal Paver.
"I'm absolutely certain that come 2011 we'll make the grade. The benefits in terms of employee recruitment, retention and performance are so obvious it doesn't really need explaining. Suffice to say, it's part of our strategy of becoming the employer of choice for our sector," added Paver.
