Shipley Solicitors Limited is a niche intellectual property and IT law practice which also undertakes general commercial work. Paver Smith manages its UK PR needs.

Based in Liverpool Science Park, Shipley represents the interests of some of the leading creative businesses in the region and has many clients across the UK. The practice has grown steadily over the last two and a half years and now employs eight staff with growth plans to double in size over the next 12 months.

The majority of Shipley's work is negotiating and drafting agreements, primarily relating to the exploitation of IP for businesses such as software developers, new media, marketing agencies, R&D companies, travel companies and design consultancies. The majority of this work is non-contentious but an increasing amount of litigious work is being undertaken.
