A stint at Kwik Save's communications department, prior to the Somerfield buyout, gave Sam his first taste of PR. He then completed a corporate communications and PR degree at Manchester Metropolitan University, while working at Weber Shandwick in its commercial property team.

Sam came from TBWA\Staniforth, where he spent three years' managing media relations for a number of bluechip clients including: Aviva UK Insurance, RAC, loss adjuster - Cunningham Lindsey, Nissan UK and UMBRO.

The Welshman has a strong interest in general motoring and a passion for keeping fit often means he's following the next fitness craze. The energetic individual believes that he is a culinary genius in the kitchen, but is more known to spend most of his spare time sampling the cuisines of restaurants in the North West.
