Rees Roberts
Solicitors is a boutique law firm which provides specialist
legal advice on the full range of commercial and residential
property issues. Recently, the practice has expanded its litigation
team to cope with the rising demand for dispute resolution.
The practice is run by Phil Rees-Roberts, who decided to start his
own specialist property firm seven years ago, despite reaching a
partner position at Berrymans
Lace Mawer.
The business model has been based on offering the expertise and
modern resources of a large firm with the specialism and
flexibility of a niche practice.
By combining partner-level advice, flexibility and client contact,
Phil has been able to act for national listed organisations as well
as owner-managed businesses.
His expertise in negotiating compulsory purchase orders (CPO) has
seen him play a significant role in Liverpool's regeneration,
acting on landmark CPO cases including Edge Lane and the Lime
Street Gateway.
The team use their expertise to offer high-quality, tailored advice
without compromising close relationships. This means that the
practice can offer a genuinely flexible and people-focused culture
that allows its lawyers to use their skills and talents without the
restrictions that larger firms can present.
As the UK's economy becomes more uncertain it is these smaller
niche firms which will come into their own, using their flexibility
to offer the best service, with the lowest overheads.
