Recruitment for new account manager finds Monster solution

Paver Smith has begun recruiting its latest account manager to join its growing team - and has hit upon a monster solution to the cost of finding new staff.

"Forgive the plug, but if you're an employer reading this, then try posting your job ad on Monster.co.uk - just £260 for 60 days," said agency MD Dougal Paver. "By the end of day one we'd had three quality candidates get in touch and we have them booked in for interviews already. Another great example of how the internet is disrupting cosy, established markets."

The new person is expected to be in position by early November and will take the Paver Smith team to 15 staff. Contracts are currently being negotiated with 10 prospective clients, with £116,500 of new annualised income added during August, £3,000 down on the company's record month in June.
