Solicitors Quinn Barrow continue to maintain pressure on the chief constable of North Wales police with help from Paver Smith.
Richard Brunstrom was censured by his police authority yesterday for his role in publicising pictures of a decapitated motorcyclist as part of a press briefing on road safety.
Quinn Barrow partner Paul Beck is acknowledged as a national authority on suing police forces and is acting for the dead cyclist's family, who were not consulted about the publication of the offending photos.
"This is a very distressing issue for the family and the ability to maintain media pressure on the chief constable is a key part of the strategy for ensuring proper redress," said agency MD Dougal Paver.
Significant national and regional TV, radio and press coverage of the case has been managed by Paver Smith account director Chris Hulme.
