Paver Smith story tops PR news charts

Paver Smith's acquisition of Factory Communications in the spring won it an unexpected plaudit this week from a leading media industry web site.

The story of the deal on How-do not only made it in to the site's twenty most read stories of 2008, but it was also the most read PR news story of the year.

"Recognition of whatever type is always a great boost for us as a team, and this was a very pleasant surprise," said agency MD Dougal Paver.

"It's been a challenging year but we've grown strongly and underpinned that by achieving the Consultancy Management Standard with the auditor's highest ever mark," added Paver.

"In 2009 our focus will be on securing the ISO 14001 environmental management benchmark and developing our PRTV offering. The market's tight, but service, innovation and value should win through," said Paver.
