Paver Smith has won the brief to manage the regional PR for the National Lottery.
The appointment, which covers the north west and most of northern Wales, sees the firm join a roster of leading regional agencies to manage press conferences for winners who opt to take publicity.
The agency will also devise regional PR campaigns for the promotion of unclaimed prizes, game launches and to support jackpot roll-overs.
"Brands don't get much bigger than the National Lottery and it says a great deal about our team's skills that they scooped the prize," said agency director Denise Mullen, who will lead the client team.
The contract is the latest in a series of client wins that sees first quarter turnover ahead 68%.
"Investment in our training academy is really yielding results, as this win shows," said agency MD Dougal Paver.
"It shows our strategy of focusing on skills, knowledge and career development to be the right one for building sustainable growth."
