Paver Smith runner-up in annual agency awards

The agency was runner-up in the PR agency of the year category at the glittering How-Do awards dinner at Old Trafford football stadium. The event was attended by 600 of the region's leading media executives.
"On the one hand we're delighted that our rapid progress has been acknowledged so publicly. On the other, I'm reminded of Bill Shankly's famous quote: 'show me someone happy with second and I'll show you a loser,'" said agency MD Dougal Paver.
"Being in the spotlight like this will help our recruitment as we continue to expand and will get the message out about our industry-leading employment practices. But it sets us a challenge, too: improve."
