Paver Smith launches first free PR app for iphones

North West PR agency Paver Smith has launched a unique iPhone applicationthat offers free PR advice to users.

The app provides daily hints, tips and advice on PR and communications issues and is expected to have broad appeal, says agency MD Dougal Paver.

"This sort of advice is available on the web from multiple sources but our app puts it all in one place for the first time and is free. The convenience will be a major benefit and it'll be interesting to see what sort of traction it gains."

Paver said he's viewing the development as an extension of the company's networking activities: "It should help draw people to us to find out more about how we can help them. Being liberal with help and advice has always served us well in terms of gaining business."

Additional versions of the app for the Android and other operating platforms will be developed in the autumn, says Paver, and guest contributors will be a regular feature of the content.
