Influential north west business club, Downtown
Liverpool in Business, has continued its development strategy with
the appointment of PR consultancy Paver Smith.
The organisation, which has
established groups in Liverpool, Manchester, Preston and Lancaster,
has recruited the agency to provide media and member relations
support as it bids to expand its existing network of professionals.
Downtown Liverpool in Business, led
by chairman Frank McKenna, has forged a reputation as an
influential lobbying group, providing a link between the
region's private sector and public sector, while also creating
a forum for valuable networking among entrepreneurs and business
leaders.
This latest contract win marks a
further coup in a successful year for Paver Smith, which has
already landed assignments with Miss England, Oddfellows and the
Grand National in the past four months.
Martyn Best, director at Paver
Smith, said: "Downtown Liverpool in Business is a real player
in the north west business scene and its influence, both in terms
of policy decisions and professional networking, is growing all the
time.
"We're looking forward to
increasing the profile of the group's important and effective
work and ensuring it is regarded as the region's number one
professional organisation."
