Paver Smith exceeds people management benchmark

Date Posted: Mon 28th Jun 2010

Paver Smith has exceeded the demanding baseline of the Investors in People standard, feedback from its assessment last week has showed.

The agency, which was seeking the mandatory three year re-accreditation for the standard, was told that it had performed two levels above the baseline.

The findings of the assessor's rigorous two day study of the firm's people policies and infrastructure, which included interviews with more than a dozen staff, will be formalised in a forthnight's time.

"The assessor told us she rarely comes across such motivated, focused and hard-working teams," said managing director Dougal Paver.

"We've stated from day one that we see investment in our staff as the cornerstone of our growth and performance so this latest assessment tells us we're headed firmly in the right direction."

The accreditation sits alongside the firm's other management benchmarks: the PRCA's Consultancy Management Standard; its 60 point CPD programme through the CIPR; and the ISO 14001 environmental management standard.
