Paver Smith acquires Campbell Sampson

Paver Smith has acquired boutique PR consultancy Campbell Sampson in a deal that should add six figures to the agency's income, as well as three key clients and a new member of staff.
"Campbell Sampson has been a well-respected name in Liverpool for a number of years and we're delighted to have concluded a productive series of discussions with Pat Sampson," said agency MD Dougal Paver. "Pat will maintain close links with us as we integrate the business."
"We're delighted to welcome David Smith to our team. David brings an impressive client list of NPower, Land Securities and St. John's Shopping Centre and invaluable experience in public consultantion work," added Dougal.
The acquisition takes Paver Smith's staff complement to 16 and has accelerated its plans to move from its Castle Street home. "We're looking to maintain our growth both organically and through deals of this nature," said agency finance director Martyn Best.
"We want to offer our people a compelling career path, so further acquisitions make sense. We're investigating a couple more at the moment and will see where those discussions take us," added Martyn.
