Paver makes How-do Media 100

Date Posted: Wed 12th Nov 2008

Paver Smith MD Dougal Paver has made the north west's Media 100 list for the second year running.

The list, published by industry web site how-do, identifies what its judging panel believes to be the media industry's movers and shakers.

"Flattering stuff," said Paver. "It's clearly more a reflection on the agency's progress than anything else, so I'm pleased for the team. Well done to them."

During 2008 Paver Smith has grown by more than 60% to a running annualised turnover of more than £2m. Full turnover projections for 2009 expect the agency to reach £3m with staff complement of more than fifty. During the year it also secured the PRCA's prestigious Consultancy Management Standard and reinforced its Investors in People status with the development of a new training academy, to be launched early in 2009 by Caroline Hopkins.

"The phrase 'Paver Smith trained' is starting to mean something judging by the number of rival PR agencies who've tried to poach members of my team this year. Launching our training academy will only add to this and I look forward to fending off more advances as 2009 unfolds," said Paver.

"We want to be the north west's best PR agency and are investing to achieve that."
