Nobles
Construction is a Merseyside company and has a big presence in
the education, healthcare, leisure and business sector. Nobles has
strong links with the public sector and it is for this reason that
they expect to turnover a record £20 million in 2008 despite a
slowing market.
The company was founded in 1994 by managing director David Shaw who
continues to work closely with co-directors Peter Linford, Peter
Scarisbrick and John Watson to grow the business and build on its
excellent reputation for delivering high quality work.
Nobles employs 45 people and has a strong belief in employing local
workers and taking on apprentices to help the industry problem
relating to skills shortages.
While turnover is key to a successful business Nobles equally
values its people and dedicates a lot of time and money to ensure
the business maintains consistently high standard of work and is an
enjoyable environment to work in.
It is a medium-size business and is not trying to compete with the
industry big names including Laing O'Rourke and Balfour
Beatty.
