A regional hospitality group is continuing its ambitious growth strategy with a £130,000 investment to launch its second Manchester deli.
Franklins Deli, which already has a deli outlet in York Street, opened at Spinningfields on Friday (10th September), creating 10 new jobs and also laying claim to Manchester's "best bacon butty".
The new 1,000 sq ft store marks the latest step in a significant expansion strategy for the group, which aims to open three more sites in Stockport, Leeds and Sheffield over the next year, adding to existing outlets in Liverpool.
Adam Franklin, founder of Franklins Hospitality, said: "Manchester has long represented a key marker for the growth of our business and we are delighted to be launching our second store in the city.
"The Franklins offer stands for freshness, quality and innovation. We offer the finest, locally-sourced ingredients, plus the city's best bacon butty, and we're confident that our customers will appreciate and enjoy the difference.
"Since launching the deli concept in Liverpool last December, we have grown our operation to four outlets, and with no bank borrowings we are well positioned to maintain our rapid growth rate."
