Hinged around the & in the company's own logo, a list of familiar partnerships from both cities will be liveried on the company's commercial vehicles.

Alongside Lennon & McCartney, the Liverpool fleet will be liveried with fellow musicians Echo & the Bunnymen and with two of the city famous Scouse colloquialisms: Warra ya like & Deez'l Do.

While in Manchester, the Gallagher brothers are joined by Coronation Street's Jack & Vera and two Mancunian colloquialisms: R'Kid & R'Mam.

Tony Cahill, Morris & Spottiswood NW Business Unit Director said: "We wanted to do something that was eye-catching, fun and demonstrated our roots in the region. We hit upon using the ampersand from our own company branding as a starting point and developed the idea from there.

"We've been working in both cities for many years and the majority of our people are either Mancunian or Scouse. We've got something different to offer our customers and promoting to these two vibrant cities with a vibrant message makes complete sense to us. It's a fun campaign that people have responded to very positively."

Morris & Spottiswood have completed a number of high-profile projects in the region including the recent commercial fitout of offices at One Park West, part of the Liverpool One complex for Grosvenor and the commercial fitout of North West Vision & Media at Media City on behalf of Peel Holdings.

The campaign also includes site banners, direct mail and a new website under the umbrella concepts of & means more for Manchester and & means more for Liverpool. The creative concepts have been designed and delivered by D8 creative.
