Martyn is a co-founder and director of Paver Smith having assisted Dougal with establishing the new agency in early 2006. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and gained an MBA whilst at Ernst & Young.

Martyn has been involved in many businesses since leaving E&Y, in numerous sectors, though always having a very keen customer service focus - even in the less than glamorous world of plastic extrusions.

He is strongly involved in the growth and development of Paver Smith, and also picks up the responsibility for finance, IT, and whatever else might fall between the cracks of a dynamic business.

Time is also found to be chairman of Everton Tigers basketball club, deputy-president of the Liverpool Society of Chartered Accountants, and a member of the NSPCC Safe Place Business Group, oh, and a trustee of the Everton Former Players Foundation.

Martyn lives in Birkdale, and is married to Mally the well known former restaurateur of Left Bank and Crystals fame. He has three teenage children in Jake, Abby and Greg, and a 4 year old cutie in Grace.

Interests: Martyn is an Everton season ticket holder, a keen skier and golfer and has a mountain bike that sees more daylight than Dougal's. Having lived in the middle East, he has retained a keen interest in travel and hopes to develop that further in helping with Liverpool's 2010 presence at the world Expo in Shanghai.
