Martyn is a co-founder and senior Partner of Paver Smith having assisted with establishing the original agency in early 2006 and guiding its change to LLP in 2011. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and gained an MBA whilst at Ernst & Young.

Martyn has been involved in many businesses since leaving E&Y, in various sectors, from plastic extrusions, injection moulding, pharmaceutical research and accountancy again.

He is strongly involved in the growth and development of Paver Smith, and picks up the responsibility for finance and IT, and is active in the LLP's strategic direction.

He is also President of the Liverpool Society of Chartered Accountants and a supporter of the Merseyside Innovation Awards, as well as many local restaurants and bars.

Martyn lives in Crosby, and has three older children in Jake, Abby and Greg, and a 5 year old cutie in Grace.

Interests: Martyn is an Everton season ticket holder, a keen skier and golfer and has a mountain bike that occassionally sees the light. Having lived in the middle East, he retains a keen interest in travel and enjoyed recent trips supporting Liverpool's 2010 presence at the world Expo in Shanghai, and in other areas of China and Hong Kong.
