The fast-growing north west property development business, Maghull Group, which has almost £300m of projects underway, has appointed Paver Smith to advise on its relationship with leading public and private sector figures.

A detailed 12 month public affairs programme has been mapped out, designed to ensure that the company meets its objective of being an active partner in the region's growth.

"Good corporate citizenship is a pre-requisite nowadays, particularly in sensitive fields such as property development," commented agency director Rachel Smith.

"We're in the thick of a range of community consultation and political discussions on behalf of Maghull Group and the results are already very tangible."

Maghull Group's most high profile deal was its recent acquisition of four prominent, landmark buildings on Liverpool's historic Hope Street from John Moores University. The end-value of the sites, on completion, will be £55m.
