Liverpool's newest boutique hotel chooses Paver Smith for launch

The Alexander Hotel, a sumptuous 31 bed boutique hotel to be opened in the former headquarters building of one of Liverpool's most famous shipping lines, has appointed Paver Smith to manage its PR programme.
The hotel, which will include a cocktail lounge, restaurant and meeting rooms, as well hot tubs and telescopes for its rooftop suites, opens in late summer 2007, subject to its current planning application being granted.
"Paver Smith has advised many of LIverpool's leading hoteliers on their launch marketing strategies, including both Marriotts, the Radisson SAS, Racquet Club, the Hard Day's Night Hotel and now The Alex. Our expertise in the sector goes much further and it's this insight into how to reach potential customers that helped us land the project," said agency director Rachel Smith.
The Alex is situated in Union House on Victoria Street, the former headquarters of the Vestey shipping and produce empire, which included the legendary Blue Funnel Line.
