LCDP provides a single voice for the Commercial District, to
promote the area and provide a forum for stakeholders to work
together to identify investment opportunities.
Members of the organisation, which includes Paver Smith, are encouraged to assist in
delivering the Partnership's aims and objectives. This involves
taking a more holistic view on issues that may seem costly in the
short term but will benefit the area in the long term, creating a
world class place to do business.
The Partnership focuses on four key areas of activity:
- Environment & security
- Transport & movement
- Strategic development
- Marketing & communications
It is private sector led, but works within the strategic framework set out by Liverpool Vision and complements the existing services provided by the public sector through Liverpool City Council, Merseytravel and Merseyside Police.
The Commercial District comprises of the area within Leeds St to the north, Tithebarn St/Chapel St (both sides including City Square, West Moorfields development site & Exchange Flags) to the south, Pall Mall (both sides) to the east and The Strand to the west.
