Lindsay joined the graduate scheme at Paver Smith in November 2009 after completing work experience at the Liverpool office.

She graduated from the University of Manchester with a first class BSc in Geography and French.

She spent her second year of study at Grenoble University in the Alps where she completed all of her work and exams in French, in which she is now fluent. She also undertook and passed her advanced alpine ski exams.

On graduation, she was placed third in the year overall so was awarded a £5000 scholarship to complete a mini-MBA at Manchester Business School. This covered all aspects of business including Marketing & Brand Management, Finance & Accounting, Management & Leadership and Global Business Strategy.

This allowed her to gain an awareness of the business world from which she was able to realise that PR and Marketing were of the most interest to her.

Interests

Lindsay enjoys most sports, especially running, and tries to run 5k three times a week. She is also, as mentioned above, an avid skier and goes to the Alps at least once a year.

She attended a performing arts school for sixteen years where she took part in dance, drama and singing lessons. This was a huge part of her life and as she competed on a regional and national level in many dance competitions around the U.K.

She also loves water sports, especially surfing, and really enjoyed watching the Women's World Surf Championships in Biarritz last year. Her love of travel has taken her far and wide but her favourite destinations to visit are Paris, New York and Florida's Gulf Coast.
