As the front page of the Daily Post put it today, the snow must go on and that is exactly what is happening.
It has become impossible to escape from the fact the country is still being ruled by the weather. Every news broadcast whether local or national includes a standard snow watch and every newspaper includes articles on how the weather is affecting people, communities and businesses.
When we aren't talking about the weather, we are worrying about it, the fear of being snowed in or snowed out.
Having said that, last night 20 of the Paver Smith team braved the elements and headed across the city to the Royal Court for a 'Merry Ding Dong' where the impossible happened.
It actually snowed inside - granted it was artificial and from a machine but it was the first snow I have actually enjoyed this month.
But, enough of the snow already as today is a day of celebration as it happens to be my 23rd birthday.
Being born on the 13th means that my birthday has fallen twice on a dreaded Friday 13th both ending with cuts and bruises, but I have never had a white birthday and I must admit despite moaning about the weather I love it.
