Position: Account Manager

Laura joined Paver Smith in July 2007 from the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA) where she worked as a press officer for three years. Responsible for publicising the Agency's activities in Merseyside, Laura is familiar with the current business landscape. Prior to joining the NWDA Laura completed a journalism degree at Liverpool John Moores University. It was here she had her first taste of public relations, whilst on work experience at Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council. As a newly appointed Account Manager Laura will be responsible for a wide range of clients and is looking forward to gaining experience across a diverse range of sectors.

Interests: Laura has tried everything from bungy jumping to salsa dancing. Her real passion is food, that's eating it not cooking it as the less said about her Chinese cookery lessons the better. With a passion for travel Laura is currently learning Spanish as her limited vocabulary, which includes: 'Where is the beach?' didn't prove incredibly useful on a recent trip to Madrid. When she's not planning her next trip abroad Laura can usually be found at the cinema.
