Kieran joined Factory Communications in September 2007 before their acquisition by Paver Smith. Prior to that he'd had a stint as a journalist with Mercury Press. There he was a senior reporter and acting news editor, covering the biggest stories in Merseyside, such as the tragic murder of Rhys Jones, as well as the fortunes of our beloved football clubs. He's had his work published in a host of national newspapers including the Independent, the News of the World and the Daily Express.

Originally hailing from Barrow-in-Furness in south Cumbria, he graduated from the University of Sheffield in French and Spanish. As part of his degree he was lucky enough to have stints studying abroad in Quebec City and Valencia.

Interests

Kieran still likes to keep up his languages and likes to pick up new ones when he can. Spanish is his favourite though and he likes to explore more of that country when he can. At home, you can usually find him in the kitchen cooking up something - Indian food a speciality. Otherwise he's out on his bike for a pedal through leafy south Liverpool or a game of tennis at the Mystery.
