The PR industry can (and has been) mocked for
being a little self-congratulatory on occasion - quite keen on
giving itself a pat on the back every now and then.
But sometimes a pat on the back is
just what the doctor ordered.
The industry is battling its way
through a recession, meeting the new demands of clients who have
found themselves in a different economic situation than they were
when they took on a PR agency.
So last week it was fantastic for
everyone at Paver Smith to receive recognition for
all our hard work over the past twelve months, when we were named
PR Agency of the year at the
How-Do awards.
For such a young company (three
years old this June) to come up trumps against such a strong set of
competitors was a huge boost of confidence and one that could be
felt throughout the office the next day.
