As one of the team from Factory Communications who recently
transferred over to Paver Smith, it seems only fitting that the
move would be the topic of my first blog.
I joined Factory in December 2007 as a two-days-a-week admin
assistant who was only meant to stay until the end of January.
Determined to make myself indispensable, I soon found myself
working a five-day week and assisting on some of the most
interesting PR clients in the region - Heathcotes restaurants,
Warrington Collegiate and the John Smith's Grand National to
name just a few.
This achievement certainly boosted my confidence, but I am still
delighted to now be on the 14th floor of the Plaza,
working at Liverpool's biggest public relations agency, writing
this.
We have come over to stunning offices (they have to be seen to be
believed) and are surrounded by a great bunch of people, but for
the first few days I felt like the new boy . Well...I was!
So here we are, a week and a bit later. I've got some fantastic
new clients to work with - Austin-Smith: Lord and the Grosvenor
Pulford Hotel - and am getting comfy in my new surroundings.
Meanwhile, the old Factory office is dark and empty, except for
some furniture and a mouldy cafetiere.
With Paver Smith's 2nd birthday this Thursday, and
my 22nd on Wednesday, it seems an appropriate time to
raise a glass, bid a fond farewell to Factory Communications and
start looking forward to the exciting times ahead...
