Evolve Productions

Michelle and Stephen Helsby are founders and directors of Evolve, a CGI 3D design studio that produces high quality animations and innovative marketing solutions for the property sector. Paver Smith manages their UK trade PR requirements.

Michelle left her career as a solicitor at Weightmans in Liverpool to set up the company three years ago with her husband.

Evolve currently employs six people and are looking to expand their workforce by taking on more recruits.

The company work closely with the public sector and clients have included Vermont Developments, Langtree, Priority Sites, 2020 Liverpool, Galliford Try and the Royal Liverpool Children's NHS Trust.

Just one example of their expertise was when Evolve were commissioned to produce imagery for a new research and development campus at Liverpool's Alder Hey hospital.

After presenting initial imagery to the client team they actually made a decision not to follow the architects' designs. Instead Evolve were asked to re-design the exterior and interior of the proposed building from scratch, within two weeks, to present at The Tate Gallery, Liverpool and further consultations with the hospital board.

Evolve also work closely with residential, commercial, industrial and retail sectors. They are able to present design ideas and give a true representation of how these will unfold before any work has started.

Evolve also has an impressive portfolio of high profile international clients who include developers, architects and design agencies both in the UK and overseas.

The company is working on making CGI interactive so a client can move around a site to see it from different viewpoints.

Evolve can provide the client with more than just good quality 3D imagery - they use their technical and creative know how together with a real understanding of what the client wants.

The company also combine interior CGI animation with live documentary footage of existing facilities and interviews with people involved to bring their projects to life even more.
