Claire Bear takes to the streets for Make a Will Week

Claire House Children's Hospice helps 300 children, young people and their families cope with the strains and heartbreak of long-term illness, providing invaluable care, support and facilities.

This year it celebrates its 10th birthday after it opened its doors in Wirral in 1989. It also recently launched a Liverpool base for the Hospice to Home care team providing home support for families.

The charity relies on the fundraising efforts of its volunteers and the community. This week it is holding its first ever Make a Will Week when 30 legal firms across the region will help people write a new Will or amend an existing one for a reduced fee in return for a donation to Claire House.

People will be able to drop into one of five locations until July 3 to see a participating solicitor or make an appointment.
