Caroline has 16 years PR experience, having worked at two 'Top 10' London agencies, moving up to the position of Associate Director before relocating to Manchester and setting up Marksman PR in 1992.
During her PR career, she has been awarded 8 IPR Awards for Excellence and 3 Chartered Inst. Marketing Awards for Professional Excellence for her campaigns. A growing passion for finding out what makes people tick led her to train in NLP (neuro-linguistic programming - study of what drives behaviour) in the mid 90s and this was the start of an ongoing fascination with human behaviour and enhancing potential.
When she started a family, Caroline left PR to retrain as a careers counsellor and set up 'The Career Works' - providing career support to organisations and individuals wanting to get the most from their careers. She also graduated with distinction as an executive coach and has since qualified as a Myers Briggs practitioner.
Caroline's focus at Paver Smith is on unleashing potential and developing talent within the company. She is responsible for supporting each individual's career development through the management of the in-house Personal Development Programme.
Interests: Given that her children are just 5, 3 and 2, Caroline's hours of leisure are not what they once were... but she manages to find time to go riding every week, runs when she can and plays tennis and rounders throughout the summer. She also loves (in no particular order) riding her bike down hills really fast, being engrossed in a great book, anything cryptic (including crosswords and her husband), cooking for friends, karaoke (oh, yes!) and playing the guitar (but not very well). An ex-season ticket holder at Old Trafford, she does not discuss football at work.
