Sunday saw yet another high-profile celebrity caught by the News of the World doing something they shouldn't.
If you're wondering who that is - and who could blame you, since the subsequent media coverage has been minimal - it was Joe Calzaghe, secretly filmed bragging about using cocaine.
The media and public response to this is interesting when compared to the reaction when Kate Moss was exposed by the same newspaper a couple of years ago.
Obviously, papers desperate to boost circulation would rather run pictures of a glamorous supermodel than some 30-something bruiser from Wales, but there is possibly something inherently sexist in the media response.
Moss, like other female celebrities, such as actress Lindsay Lohan and models Sophie Anderton and Jodie Kidd, allegedly caught using drugs, was vilified and lost millions of pounds worth of modelling contracts. Calzaghe meanwhile offered a stock apology and seems to have escaped unscathed.
But why is the media's judgement on people doing the same thing so dependent on their gender?
