Blogging's strict etiquette says 'thou shalt not promote clients', but Dougal Paver believes an exception to the rule every now and then is just fine.
A year living in Barcelona way back when saw me fall for Catalonia and its wiles. The place just gets under your skin in a way that many don't.
One of the greatest expressions of Catalan culture is its food and wine and regular trips to Barcelona's stunning Mercat de Sant Josep has given me a fair handle on how to concoct a local feast from the freshest of ingredients.
And so I found myself yesterday in Lunya, Liverpool's delightful new Catalan deli and tapas restaurant, hoping to be impressed - and I wasn't disappointed. Tucked away in a rather groovy corner of Liverpool One, this place is sure to fly.
Now, before I go on let me declare an interest: we have the job of promoting it.
It would be entirely reasonable, therefore, for you to decide switch off here and now - except that you'd be missing out on an epicurian experience bar none. Yes, it really is that good.
The deli counter is a match for any in Sant Josep (or La Boqueria, as it's more affectionately known) and there really is no higher praise. Invest a fiver in the Villarejo rosemary cheese and you'll see what I mean. I washed it down with a bottle of the white Muga from La Rioja whilst typing this and couldn't wipe the grin from my face.
Chef Patron Peter Kinsella has brought together an outstanding team to do justice to his long-held dream and with top notch food and service I have no doubt that it'll be a roaring success. It was chocker for Sunday lunch, so word is clearly already out.
If you haven't been, go. Then email and tell me how you got on.
