Blackcircles.com is one of the
newest additions to the Paver
Smith client stable.
The leading online tyre retailer is
expanding rapidly and is looking to raise the brand's profile
nationwide.
The business' unique model -
which allows you to purchase tyres online and have them fitted at
one of the website's network of local independent garages - has
proved to be extremely successful and founder Michael Welch is
looking to build on their growing reputation.
From their headquarters in the
Scottish borders town of Peebles, the company now boasts over
300,000 customers and sales of more than £10m.
Paver Smith is helping the company
target two very distinct audiences - van drivers and mums - as well
as to maintain the company's corporate profile as 'one to
watch'.
The success of Blackcircles.com has
recently been recognised on the national stage. The 30-year-old
managing director not only saw his venture named
one of 20 winners at the BT Business 'Essence
of the Entrepreneur' awards but also held off competition from
thousands of candidates to win the Most Outstanding Entrepreneur of
the Year award and a £20,000 business grant.
Mr Welch said: "This is a very
important competition as it demonstrates that British businesses
are surviving, and indeed thriving, in spite of the current
economic climate.
"To be recognised among the top
20 entrepreneurs is so encouraging for myself and the team as it
confirms that we are continuing to build a stand-out business and
using the latest technological developments to our direct benefit.
"Being named as Most
Outstanding Entrepreneur is undoubtedly the icing on the cake and
we look forward to reinvesting the business grant alongside our
existing development strategy."
