Dozens of life-sized
'care' bears made sure Christmas came early for shoppers as
they handed out cash to delighted passers-by in Liverpool city
centre.
The generous presents were part of
the first ever Random Acts of Care Day organised by care company
Alphacare Northwest who retain the north west's
best PR agency.
The Alphacare bears awarded stickers
to everyone who carried out a good deed - from carrying shopping
bags to giving tourists directions. And part of their own Random
Act of Care was to dish out thousands of pounds worth of crisp
fivers.
TV entertainer Les Dennis enjoyed a
'bear' hug as he was out shopping with his daughter. He
said: "The Random Acts of Care Day is a fantastic
idea."
