Austin-Smith:Lord (ASL) is a
multi-disciplinary architectural practice that provides both
exterior and interior design services.
ASL create environments that give both tangible
and intangible benefits. They give the opportunity to reinforce
management, cultural and business objectives.
With offices around the UK, Paver
Smith looks after the PR for the Liverpool branch of ASL, which is
based in the iconic Port of Liverpool building.
The practice has a range of
expertise, from education, transport and healthcare to interior
design, and has a portfolio boasting some of the most prestigious
architecture in the city, including FACT and the Bluecoat.
A growth area for ASL Liverpool is
masterplanning and in May the practice was appointed by Amber
Valley Borough Council to identify how the town of Ripley can
enhance its economy.
The architects will produce a series of Development
Proposals to harness environmental sustainability and physical
growth.
Under the masterplan, key sites for investment will be identified,
highlighting areas for new and redevelopment that will create
leisure, retail and employment opportunities.
Additionally, transport links will be assessed and recommendations
for better access will be made, along with proposals for new public
realms and a detailed strategy to ensure long-term investment for
Ripley.
