There are some sore limbs in Paver Smith this morning - but it was worth the pain, says Dougal Paver.
Saturday saw our mammoth hike up Carrantuohil, Ireland's highest mountain, for Claire House Children's Hospice.
I'm not sure what did most damage: 6,828 feet of murderous ascent and descent or the 40 pints of Guinness, one curry, one kebab and some fish and chips that fuelled the whole enterprise.
Either way, I'm feeling a little delicate this morning, as are six of my colleagues. But then, the thought of many thousands of pounds hitting the coffers of Claire House today makes up for that.
A big thank you, then, to everyone who sponsored us: it's very much appreciated.
