Good things come in threes
A survey undertaken by hotel chain,
Travelodge, found Liverpool to be in the top 10 UK cities that
people should see before they die.
Liverpool came in a highly impressive third place, with 24 per cent
of the vote, behind only Edinburgh and Bath.
The results do not surprise me at all. As a Londoner living 'up
north', I get a lot of visitors who come to stay from outside
the city for weekends. They, without fail, love it.
Of course, the nightlife is a big hit, but friends also love the
culture and general atmosphere of the city. And the fact that the
beach and sea are only a few miles up the road.
It is always good to see things through fresh eyes too and remind
yourself of what the city you live in has to offer. And now
I'll have to find some excuses to visit the other cities on the
list.
