Liverpool Commercial District
Partnershipfeatures a number of key stakeholders who have
come together to create a body that strives to improve the trading
environment, encourage investment in the area and work with public
sector partners to maximise the unique opportunities open to the
city of Liverpool.
The partnership aims to create a
commercial district where people want to live, work and play.
Circus performers and a live art
display are among the attractions at a unique event being held in
the heart of Liverpool's commercial district later this week.
Live! at St Paul's Square will
see a performance by world-renowned acrobatic theatre company, Le
Grand Cirque, while a host of regional artists will be on hand to
create a giant piece of art specially designed for the newly-built
square.
The event, which takes place between
12pm and 2.30pm on Thursday 4 June, will also feature dozens of
market stalls selling a range of goods including speciality food,
wine and chocolates, as well as pampering and cosmetics.
Liverpool CDP, which has organised
the free lunchtime spectacle near to Old Hall Street, is confident
that the event will be popular among workers and residents in the
commercial district.
Le Grand Cirque will perform two
15-minute shows, offering an exclusive preview of hit show
Fantazie, currently on stage for 10 days at Liverpool's Empire
Theatre.
