Richard is Paver Smith's director of
social marketing.
He leads a team delivering social
marketing programmes for clients working in healthcare, education,
local authority and charity sectors. Richard is responsible for new
business development and account direction.
He is a qualified Chartered Marketer
with 20 years' experience in social marketing, corporate
communications and PR. He gained his professional marketing
qualifications at Bristol Polytechnic, and completed his
Masters' degree at Manchester Metropolitan University. In 1997,
Richard became one of the country's first Chartered Marketers.
Richard has spent his entire career
in marketing, holding senior positions in healthcare, local
government, tourism, inward investment and business support
services. He recently oversaw the successful re-branding of
Liverpool's Walton Centre - the NHS Trust specialising in
neurology and neurosurgery - where he worked as head of marketing
and communications. Prior to this, Richard ran a business
consultancy helping clients with their brand development and
marketing effectiveness.

Richard is a keen golfer
(handicap 4), and occasional keep fit enthusiast!
