Fishing at the Inn at Whitewell

Paver Smith took a group of clients and agency friends to the Inn at Whitewell for a memorable dinner and some outstanding fishing.

Huge migratory salmon were running up the river Hodder to spawn, having swum across the Atlantic. This momentous journey ends with their death and there were numerous fish up to 20lbs in weight lying spent in the water. A sad but awe-inspiring sight.

Agency MD Dougal Paver led the team on a grayling hunt, trying out his cunning new rig of Czech nymph and buzzers on the dropper. Understand any of that? We thought not.
