Paver Smith has extended its reach into the
north west arts community, with account director Chris Hulme joining the board of FACT, Liverpool's digital arts
centre.
He will provide a PR, marketing and corporate
sponsorship perspective to FACT's chief executive Professor
Mike Stubbs and the board, which is chaired by Sir Drummond
Bone.
"We are all digital citizens today and
it's exciting to be associated with an arts organisation which
deals with that social and cultural change in such interesting
ways," said Chris Hulme.
"FACT has take-no-prisoners plans to
establish its profile on the global stage and I'm looking
forward to supporting its objectives."
Paver Smith is the north
west's fastest growing PR agency and already has a strong
presence in the local arts community. Managing director Dougal
Paver is on the development board of Tate Liverpool and the
agency's PR clients have included the Royal Court Theatre and
the Liverpool
Irish Festival.
Chris Hulme himself has over 20
years' experience in the media and leads a number of the
agency's largest accounts, including the north west offices of
law firm DLA Piper and
accountants Grant
Thornton, plus the national campaigns of property companies
Downing and
Muse Developments.
Earlier this year he was given the PR & Marketing Award by
North West Business Insider at its Liverpool Professionals
dinner.
Mike Stubbs of FACT said: "We have a massive
programme for 2009 and beyond which will enhance our position as an
international centre of excellence and a hub of the local
community. We will welcome the support of Chris and Paver Smith in
taking our brand to the world."
