1. What do you like most about your
job? The variety of my clients and the people I work with.
2. What is the best example of PR you have
seen recently? Following Sir Alex Ferguson's comments
about his side's "conference-style" defending against
Liverpool, Conference sponsor Blue Square has offered £10,000
to any side with a better defensive record than Man Utd this
season. A great piece of opportunist PR and a positive outcome for
the teams in the league.
3. Where is your favourite place in the
world that you have visited? Greenwich Village, New York.
The term 'multicultural' was surely made for this city. The
Village is a cool, mixed-bag of posh and scruffy and a great place
to spend a day just walking around.
4. What do you do to unwind? Go
to the pub or go for a walk.
5. What are you currently working on? The launch
of two new organizations - a new business by iconic Liverpool
shipping company Bibby and a unique co-operative for high street
lawyers, the Nationwide Solicitors Alliance.
6. What is the best experience that
working in PR has given you? Having lived away from the
city for a number of years, the opportunity to work in the centre
of Liverpool during culture year is 'well boss'.
7. What are you doing this
weekend? Travelling to the North East for a good
friend's wedding - fingers crossed, Sean & Annie!
8. What are you reading at the
moment? Stone Cold by David Baldacci.
9. What is your most prized
possession? Neville Southall's underpants from his
testimonial match against Celtic in 1995. (They were
'purloined' before the match, hence no unsightliness)
10. What is your favourite quote?
Life is far too important a thing ever to be taken seriously (Oscar
Wilde)
