The Vincent Hotel

The reception at the Vincent Hotel

With 60 beautifully decorated guest studios, residences and penthouse, the Vincent Hotel has a hip, design conscious ambience across six floors.

It will open in Southport in May 2008 and is a prospective 5 star hotel.

The Vincent includes a bar named after the international fashion photographer Tony McGee and the V-Deli/Cafe, for guests and locals alike, the V-Spa and V-Gym and the V-Galleria Suites for weddings and corporate events.

The hotel is the vision of local restaurateur, Paul Adams, who owns the Warehouse Brasserie. He felt that there was something missing in the market and that there was space for a new, trendy venue.

He selected Lord Street, Southport as the ideal location. With its very own Parisienne style Boulevard, lined with boutiques, high street shops, cafés, bars and restaurants, he wanted to go to the next level and create a first class base for business or pleasure.

The hotel is designed to be as user friendly as possible. The option of checking-in before arrival is available on request and guests can monitor their bills and check-out in-room by using their on screen quick checkout facility.

Power sockets inside safes provide extra peace of mind while you are charging your MP3 or mobile, and exciting and funky items such as oxygen shots and an adult fun kit from America can be found in the Private Bar.

Also, in keeping with its location in the heart of England's golf coast, the hotel features a state-of-the-art golf simulator perfect for practicing your swing.

For added convenience, the Vincent is the only hotel in the UK offering free phone calls to local, national land lines. Low flat rates are also available to mobile phones and selected international lines.

People looking for good food will enjoy the V-Deli. The cosmopolitan V-Deli/Cafe is situated on the main boulevard of Lord Street and provides an eclectic array of international cuisine. At night it is transformed into a chic eatery and in the summer alfresco dining is available, overlooking the lively Lord Street.

Already, the Vincent has been named by The Times as one of the world's 20 Hot Hotels for 2008 and it has been selected for membership of the exclusive worldwide Design Hotels consortium of 160 design-led hotels across the world.

The hotel will open just in time for the Birkdale Open, and all of the 60 rooms at the £13million hotel have been booked up. Only the six night package in the Penthouse remains, and all signs point to 2008 being a successful year for Southport's newest arrival.
